Influentials On The Web Are People With The Power To Link
Scott Karp has it right. Great quote: "Anyone can become influential on the web simply by setting up a blog or an account on a social network or social bookmarking site and linking to people and content that interests them. Anyone who is influential offline and wants to retain that influence online needs to start linking — and to leverage those links in a large network."

morepartnerincome.com :: Leverage Can Help and Hurt Law Firms
Good article by Brian Ritchey on the difficult balance of leverage. It's more of touchy-feely point but I think Partner lifestyle has to come into play too. Swapping a slightly lower average billable rate for not being a slave to your practice... well, has merit too. Not to the point of giving away one's practice, but to the point where Partner lifestyle is a factor.

Publishing 2.0: What Is The ROI Of Requiring User Registration To Access Online Content?
Very interesting. Read the part about Facebook doing the 'dirty work' of user registrations. Scott Karp's blog is a new must read for me.
